I am filing ITR 4. After clicking proceed for verification ( after validation). It is giving error.
Itr/itr4/ ...chaln/... should be number format/ string format found. I have refilled advance tax challans again. Same error coming.

I am trying to file itr 2 for AY 22/23 since last 4 days
after verification....i am getting schema error....try after some time
when raised grivence...cpc replied to update Microsoft....not to copy paste....not to use special characters

You are using space or some special characters in challan number (anything other than number is not allowed in serial number of challan)
No.....i am not using any special characters or space.......it comes auto filled.

I deleted all my advance tax filled by dept and freshly filled correctly. Still same thing coming. Posted grievance with screen shot
Did same and submitted grivence.....cpc says download microsoft.net 3.5......did as they said....tried to file online.....gave string error.....filed off line.....gave schema error.
However my friend conformed...if filed by purchased software....then it is filing smoothly
NOT ONLY MY RETURN WAS VALIDATED AND VERIFIED , BUT I GOT INSTANT INTIMATION UNDER 143(1). LAST YEAR MY WIFE GOT INSTANT INTIMATION AND REFUND IN BANK IN 2 DAYS. MY REFUND WILL BE IN BANK IN 2 DAYS NOW.

I SELECTED ALL THE ADV AND SELF ASS TAX AND DELETED. THEN AGAIN FROM 26 AS I FILLED ONE BY ONE . PREFILLED HAD NO STARTING ZEROS IN CHALLAN NO . EG 03245 is correct in prefilled (by it dept) 3245 . I correctly refilled . But today i tried and it was successful.
