I have one query regarding the entry Tax, we want buy steel from interstate whether the entry tax is applicable or not ? if applicable means what is the rate of entry tax is applicable.

Hi,
The rate of tax depends on from which state you are buying. However, Haryana charges 1% entry tax on iron and steel, Punjab charges 5%. States like Delhi and Rajastan have no entry tax on iron and steel outside the state.
