according to law can we enter vouchers on date of weekly off day in books ?
for example:- it was comes Sunday on 28/feb/2010. can we post accounts closing entries in books on 28.02.10 if organisation has weekly off on Sunday?
or it is required to post entries on 27.02.10.
if we post entries on Sunday what will be effect according to law?
As per my knowledge there is nothing written in any law about this. Its all about business ethics as when u have not worked on any day which was a week off or holiday how can u enter in books of accounts even if transaction happened on such a date. We Should rather enter it on previous day as in the case of year ending or next day.
