My query is as follows:
Our company directors & their wives (also shareholders) are travelling to attend a customer's wedding.
I have booked their flight tickets using my (employee & shareholder) personal credit card. The payment info in tickets does mention my name and credit card number.
Can the company reimburse me the booking amount and claim it as expense?
Yes, you will be reimbursed by the company. But try to avoid making such payments on behalf of the company, because when you are reimbursed, the AO will treat these receipt to be your income.
