Eligible for final exams?

Hi everybody!!! Iam little confused about eligibility for final exams.

 Iam a PCC Student and ny Articleship gets completed in JAN 2012. Iam hoping of clearing PCC exams in NOV 2011 Exams. I thought i could write my Final Exams In May 2012 but someone told me that there should be atleast six months gap from registration of Final. So According to that i will be able to write in Nov 2012 if i register in JAN 2012 after results are announced.

     Please help when i can give my Attemt in May 2012 or Nov2012?
