Eligibility for cpt exam

Hello all,

If a person completes 2nd PU as a private candidate, will he be eligible to write CPT?

My bro discontnued his 2nd PU this year, due to health issue. Now he doesnot want to reappear for the classes, instead wants to take up exam as a private candidate. So if he completes 2nd PU as a a private canditate, will he be eligible to take CPT nect year. Please advice.
