In ITR 2 or 3 there is no column mentioning the loss incurred in short term share trading. Pl. advise me in which column the figures are to be entered

plz check again.
ITR 2 and 3 have cloumns for capital gain or losses
in case of loss you have to fill in schedule CFL as losses for the current year.

only indtra day gain or loss are speculations
and mr. Ramakrishnan is asking for short term capital loss
