THIS HAPPENED IN Q4 2018-19 STATEMENT. NO NOTICE RECEIVED YET. EDUCATION CESS IS PRESENT IN SALARIES OF ALL QUARTERS BUT THERE WERE PERKS GIVEN TO EMPLOYEES IN THE LAST MONTH OF THE QAURTER WHERE TAX HAVE BEEN DEDUCTED BUT EDUCATION CESS IS NOT SPECIFIED. PLEASE TELL POTENTIAL REPERCUSSIONS OF THIS AND THE WAY TO CORRECT IT. WE DO NOT HAVE DIGITAL SIGNATURE.

I have followed form 16 that got prepared from our branch not traces, to fill ann 2. but we failed to bifurcate education cess in one challan of ann - 1 q 4. My question is will it mandatory to to file a correction here ? it was a perquisite payment to employees whose challan we talking about here.
