E-tds- single challan for two quarters - pls help

I have paid TDS amount of Rs. 35000/- in a single challan(Only TDS amt without mention any interest Portion) . In this I have Booked TDS amount of Rs. 9250 and Interest amt of Rs. 1527/- for Q1 Return and I have utilized the Remaining amt of Rs.24223 for Q2 TDS as per below entries in TIN NSDL RPU Software

Challan Entry in Quarter – 1 E_TDS RPU Return software

TDS amt = 9250 (Column No.403 (4))

Interest =1527 (Column No.406 (7) )

Others = 24223 (Column No.407 (8))

Interest = 1527 (Column (19))

Others=24223 (Column (20))

Challan Entry in Quarter – 2 E_TDS RPU Return software

TDS amt = 24223 (Column No.403 (4))

Others = 10777 (Column No.407 (8))

Interest = 0 (Column (19))

Others=10777 (Column (20))

In this Q1 return challan status booking as matched But Q2 for the same challan status is Unmatched .

Mr Suresh, you can link challans with deduction details of different quarters. No need to mention others. Just enter the deduction details in Quarter 1 & 2, & then link it with the same challan. Don't split the challan.

For reducing complexities it is advisable to have separate challan for every quarter. Don't use same challan for payment of amount for two or more quarters.
