I filed my return online for A.Y. 2011-12. Now i have received an intimation u/s 143(1).
I have applied for rectification u/s 154 with the local ITO.
However the local ITO cannot process the rectification beacuse the case is not transferred from CPC to ITO.
Please advice as how to get the case transferred from CPC to ITO.
Why are you filing the retification to local ITO. You can upload it online on income tax website.
I think you should try CPC call centre 1800-428-2229. They may be able to guide you properly.
If you call to CPC also you cannot receive proper response. You have to make sure that in IT website if there is a status of transfered to Local ITO, then you have to go to Local ITO. Actually when we submit the ITR online why they(CPC) transfer to local ITO don't know. My case also same like you only. Nobody is giving proper information/response in IT dept. Simply they say you have to contact there & here.
