Due date for payment of self assessment tax for ay2020-21

Govt has extended the date of payment of self assessment tax only those taxpayer whose self assessment tax liability is upto Rs. 1 lakh to 30th November 2020.
N/N 35/2020 dated 24.06.2020

As per CBDT circular dated 24 th June 2020 , self assess tax more than 1 lac rupees ,you have to pay on or before 31st July 2020 . I my view you pay tax before 31st July 2020 and keep Challans with you and file return .
