Hi Friends!

I have recently got employed in Dubai. I will be sending around 2000AED to my parents in india in my savings bank account. A home loan is running in my name. What are the tax compilations and what is the best way to save maximum taxation.

I have heard that Dubai income is non taxable in India. Kindly throw light on the complete picture of earning in Dubai and sending money home.

Dear Rohit As you have mentioned that you got recently employed in Dubai so in the f.y 2013-14 you must be resident and all of your income will be taxed in India. But as we have refer DTAA also to check your double taxation benefits. As I know in Dubai there is ni taxes so I think you will not get the benefit of the same. U suggest you to file you return in India in this f.y as resident. also it is not going to effect any of the transactions your doing with your money transfer. But if you earn any bank interest on the same then it will be added to your income and hence taxable. I hope this will help you.
