My firm had DTA sale permission upto 31.03.2010. The permission was renewed in September but a DTA sale took place in August.The duty and vat all have been paid.Would we be required to pay penalty for selling goods before permission. THe good have moved from ware house only after the permission letter.

if "renewed" then no question of penalty/ interest, coz the effective date is long back w.e.f the original permission.
