The individual modules of VG are huge. It seems impossible to cover them one day before exam. Is summary material and Question Bank enough for DT preparation?

No summary module is not enough. DT portion is vast but clarity and understanding of sections is must.

If it's may 2018 exam i would suggest VG summary module as no other go.

I have read through the individual materials once like around 70. The problem is it’s really exhausting and time consuming to go through that and solve QB a day before exam. So I’m planning to rely on summary mat and QB for revision as well as exam preparation. Do you guys think it’s right?

Yes, they are very very comprehensive and therefore not possible to revise all of them 1 day before the exam.

For preparation - you should learn all of them but for revision 1 day before the exam - you can consider revising from the Summary Module and Amendments and once you are done with these - you can shift to the detailed modules.

yes for one day before exam you can go for summary module but for preparation for the attempt it is not enough.

for do its better to read all modules at least once and make summary points written or key points in summary module and do practice manual of icai for questions. I did the same and scored exemption in direct tax

Definitely, that is best for you.

However if you have taken classes from VG sir, these summaries and MCQ will work as a cherry on the cake. It's very clear and cut that VG sir is not less than a God to the Direct Tax subject and his books are equivalent to the Bible, Geeta or Quran for the student of CA final to pass in Direct Tax and International Taxation
