My client( vet medicines manufactur
er) got converted from proprietorship into pvt ltd.The erstwhile proprietor is director in the company.I want to know what will happen to drug license originally held in name of proprietor..will previous license be surrendered and new license be obtained ?kindly advise

The drug license does not transfer automatically. You must apply for a new license or a "change in constitution" through your State Drug Controller to update the registration to the name of the newly incorporated private limited company.
