i mean on the services rendered by it if it exceed 10lacs does school has to pay service tax?

does n't giving education, teaching come under service???
Notification No. 10/2003-ST, exempts any service provided by a commercial training or coaching centre, which forms essential part of the course or curriculum of any other Institute or establishment, leading to the issuance of certificate, diploma, degree or educational qualification recognised by law.

service tax on works contract is 4.12% on the gross amount and no input tax credit is available on this
