Does absent counts

Dear all,

I have applied for the CWA intermediate stage group 2 exam which is scheduled to be held during second week of december 2012.

But due to some unavoidable circumstances i will not be able to attend the same.

I have few questions regarding this

1) will the dec'12 exam be counted as my first attempt?

2) As i will miss the dec'12 exam, but if i qualify the june'13 exam will it be considered as my first attemt or not?
