Hello,
I have done the service tax registration online and received provisional ST 2. Now registration documents have to be submitted to the range officer to complete the process.
My question is whether it is mandatory to submit these documents personally or is it OK to send them by registered post?

There is no such bar to submit the documents by post, but physical submission would ensure that complete set is received by the department,
