Do i have to file form no.112 to pursue frm?

I am not sure if one has to inform the Instiute before one month for registering any course. But I have submited my Form 112 after around 2 months of registering for B.com (A&F) from IGNOU (as I received the registration letter from IGNOU only after 2 months and it is also mandatory to enclose a copy of the same with Form 112). I did not face any problem and I also received the confirmation letter from the Institute for the same. 

The FRM institute (GARP) is at USA and it is not possible to get their confirmation on form 112, so I guess I will have to attach the registration letter with the form. But i am worried about the late filing. The form says that we have to take the permission of the CA institute 1 month before registration and then it asks us to attach the registration letter along with the form. How is this possible?

Hey don't worry! I also had the same problem. So I have sent Form 112 only after I received the Registration Letter from IGNOU (I received it after 2 months) and I did not face any problem. Also I have written the date of receipt of registration letter as the date of registration in Form 112. Please note that you need to send the form so as to reach the Institute within 30 days after the date of registration (not before the date of registration).

As you are still undergoing articleship, it would be better to file Form-112 with ICAI.  And I don't think that you will have to file it one month before seeking registration. However, I am not sure about that. I too registered for B.Com from DU and sent the form-112 along with my form 103 and PCC registration after I had registered for the B.Com and the Institute acknowledged it in the registration letter.
