dividend from indian company is exempt from tax

No one, dividend execpt u/s 2(22e) is exempt in hends of receiver since D.D.T. Is to paid by company u/s115(o)

yes dividend received from indian co. is exempted

Don't worry about dividend receipt. it is fully exempt. Decide the ITR form based on other heads of Income.

Apart from the Dividend, If you receive only salary income - ten ITR - 1

If you receive salary along with the combination of capital gain (and/or) and house property income, then - ITR - 2

If you are in business or profession and if it is a partnership firm and earned income from such, then - ITR - 3

If you earn such business or profession income from sole proprietorship, then - ITR - 4

my suggestion to above commenters...

u all r rite that dividend is exempt ..and C.D.T is paid by company..

but don't say this that divident is exempt because C.D.T is paid by company...there is no such combination....it is created by our tutors...

if u go into deep provisions of divident by mutual fund...u come to know th above linking is not good...
