Hey Guys,

What's ur thoughts on the Corporate Law Paper today ?

Personally, i felt it was too procedural & no expected questions apart from few of the topics.like directors.

Emphasis was more on the Procedural aspects

hehe...& the first question was a shokcer (XBRL)

d ) SAT is the copmounding authority, SC next level

a ) Effective cap : Paid up, securities premium as reduced by losses and prelim expenses

b ) 1/3 of total strength or 2 dircetor quorum, valid appointment of Additional director

My paper was excellant but wrote relevant and upto date points finished in just 15 pages !! so only am worried about it...:-(

Bada khatarnaak paper tha!!!! i read whole of practice manual but didnt help much at my center (Bangalore) everyone felt it was tough, what about other locations??!!

Q abt appmnt of auditr... adjournmnt of meeting and appntng new auditor? Wats d answr? tenure of auditr is from one agm to CONCLUSION of next agm ryt? I wrote..it is casual vacancy.. :( is it ryt?

the answer is conclusion of 1 agm (in which the auditor was app) to conclusion of next agm, hence CA Naresh is right in holding the office

Adjorment of meeting is continuation of original meeting.....so ca will continue to be auditor of company till completion of adjorned meeting and new auditor is not validly appointed in eyes of law as original ca continues to be ca till 30/11/2012.....
