can we charge gst after giving discount on invoice ?

yes, u have to charge GST after discount
no, you have to charge before gst for discount
for example...
taxable value = 1000
Less - discount = 100
total taxae value = 9900
cgst @ 2.5%. = 247.5
sgst @ 2.5% = 247.5
total invoice value = 10395
I think this is the procedure to calculate the discount ....
