Hi,

There is a person who receives family pension, received provident fund outstanding amount of her husband and some DA arrear.

The question here is whether PF balance received on death of employee by his family has to be reported in the ITR and if yes then which form to be used for it.

Thanks.

no need to report PF received on maturity

use ITR -1 and show pensoion and arrear of DA only

ITR 2 wont solve the purpose. Isn't ITR 1 required when the employee himself received the pension.
