Property registration without physical PAN card

Hi,

Is a physical PAN card mandatory for property registration or is it sufficient to have a PAN number and photocopy of the PAN card?

I seem to have misplaced my PAN card and the registration is next week, so not enough time to get a replacement PAN card.

Quick Summary
For property registration, physical PAN card is generally not mandatory. PAN number with photocopy or e-PAN is usually sufficient if verification is possible. Digital PAN is accepted in most cases, so loss of physical card should not delay registration.

No, a physical PAN card is generally NOT mandatory.
In most cases, PAN number + a photocopy (or e-PAN) is sufficient, provided the PAN details can be verified.

thank you for your response

Digitally you can show.

There are other documents too.

Thanks for sharing this helpful post about property registration without a physical PAN card. I found the question about using a photocopy instead very practical, especially with the tight deadline mentioned. https://aisongmaker.art
