i have written my ipcc may 2014. i like to change into direct entry and start my articleship. i am not bothered about my result as i dont have hope on it. Some are saying only after i get my results i can convert into direct entry scheme and some say i can convert it now itself. which is true? i m planning to write may 2015 exam. if results come late then i hve to skip 2 exams(nov 14 and may 15). i dont want to skip may 15. please guide me

if u have sure of u wont clear dis time then go for direct entry..atleast u can start ur articleshp. I think u can convert nw itself..while applyin for it enquire n confirm frm icai branch office itself and go ahead. Result wl come in smwhr in aug 1st week

Thank you kishore ji. I already called the institute but different people give different instructions in institute. when i called them first they said i can convert and register for conversiona nd articleship. but today when i cross verified they said i have to wait for my results. results come only in august end. And to be eligible for may 2015 i should register before september 1st. Which view of the institute i should take is my query.

Have u given both group.? And r u sure of wont clear dis time..then go for it. Visit ur near by regional institute office enquire in detail b4 u going to buy application for direct entry. Tel them am sure i wl nt clear dis time n all so can i register nw itself to save months etc. Lets c. And buy those relevant application n come.

In my opinion, you can apply for direct entry course now itself. In such case, whatsoever be your recent exam result, it will be ignored. In order to start your articleship, you need to register for direct entry course now. In order to start articleship, you need to first complete ITT and OP. I hope you would have already completed ITT, OP in your existing IPCC course. If so, then no need to complete them again. Just 9 months training needs to be completed in order to sit for the exam.
