Dinesh madan it book different from study module

Hey Aaditya use ICAI Study Material & Practise manual instead of Dinesh madan book.. because you are going to write ICAI exam not dinesh madan exam.. and your result is in ICAI hand not dinesh madan.. and write the concepts as it is writen in study material & practise manual.. and best of luck for your exam..

Hey...Aditya...If u Write in simple Language..u'l get marks...use Dinesh Madan language...U'l get marks...They just test ur Knowledge abt Computer....Definitions Are not that important..U Just Xplain the concepts...Thats it...

Thanks Ravi and Siddhesh for replying. I respect your advice Ravi, but the thing is, like I said earlier, I just got a week left to prepare, and I JUST found out that most of Madan's stuff is not exactly same to Module. I don't think I'll be able to start mugging definitions from Module all of a sudden.

Lets be practical....

U have only 1 week left & u also have other 3 subjects to revise.

So according to me just refer dinesh madan along with practice manual i.e  refer practice manual to have a idea about how & what type of questions are framed of the respective concepts & refer madan for answering them....

Instead of getting tensed & shifting to module again i think it is a better option.

my exams are also near so I can easily feel the tension you are feeling .... So definitely had to login for your answer :-

1. ICAI never say to cram ...  they focus on concept. So if you understood dinesh madan book ... and able to present the ideas in clear and concise way. Then go ahead with confidence. 

2. Practical manual ...Suddenly shifting your balance to technical thing  would be damn mindblower  ...... definitely not so good idea for this time atleast...

So do one thing :- 

You can choose question pattern and  the repetitive questions and revise them from  Dinesh madan book. 

And don't worry too much .... coz I got 65 marks  even if I couldn't get the time to revise my IT notes (which I made from book) and  have a birdview over Strategic management. 

I still regret upon my stupid time management ... Otherwise I could revise well in time and score more. 

So,I advise you to don't repeat my mistake ... and waste your time in confusion.

be clear in your concept... and present them neatly and for FLow chart chapter refer Study manual questions. Dinesh madan's book flow chart are not enough.

3. Chapter 3: Network ( Most imp)

• LAN
• OSI Model
• N/W topologies 
• ISDN
• IDS
• DNS server
• Chat server
• Asynchronous Transmission

4 Chapter 4: Internet technologies

• E-commerce
• CRM
• Components of Supply chain
• SET

Where most of the people have not been able to pass unfortunately in IT/Sm, I did, and becasue of Dinesh Madan IT books+ his flowchart and DBMS videos which made all the difference in the end. (and of course-the one week 'delay' in the paper ;)
