I initiated revalidation of bank account, simultaneously another mesage came to enhanced secuity measure please opt for efiling thru net banking i opted for it. then confirmation message came that your efiling thru net banking enabled. Then  I tried to login thru income tax side it takes me to bank side for login there i entered my credentials it takes to efiling tab there after access denied message screnn come up.

I mailed several time to efilingwebmanager @ incometax.gov.in. but my issue is still not resolved. pls suggest me the solution.

Due to WISDOM of someone, there is no way to log in to E Filing Portal through net banking this year.

You log in directly with your PAN and password.

After loging, go to your profile, remove all bank accounts and again add the accounts and validate.

For everification, only the Aadhaar selection works properly. e verification through net banking will fail again and again and will drive you crazy.

Do not expect any help reply from the Income Tax Dept, they are super busy with other very important matters.

@ Ranjan Mr

If you have a validted bank account with EVC enabled in the profile section, then e-Verify using Bank Account option seems to be working, which is different than the Net Banking option.

@ SC

E Verification did not work for EVC enabled Bank Accounts - THIS YEAR - for my relative, and later forr me.

The same EVC enabled bank accounts had done Everification last year immediately after filing.

Finally, we had to use Aadhar route to everify

Perhaps you had special luck

You can look at my other posts on this issue.

You may be right 👍. It does seem to be working now, OP can check & revert on their findings, might benefit others in similar situation.
