my USB token is PAN based and i already registered with the IT department thro e-filing site. After that the above message
'can not read file for signing C\fakepath\ITR_AAABC4876D.xml.'

Start Internet Explorer
Go to Settings
Click on Security Tab
Click on Custom Level
Press Reset.. Button and on the small window above Reset.. Button Scroll Down and check the "enable" button under "Include local directory path when uploading files to a server"
Click OK and restart Internet Explorer,
Now upload your return with a digital signature,,
