Difference between Insurance Broker and Insurance Agent

The other objects of the company mentions .... Co can act as an insurance agent or broker

But my question is what is the diff in these 2 and also can a co do insurance bus for more than one co.

Also to start other objects the Co has to go to GM and then only they can start the business.
