12 May 2018Dear Expert,
I have filled GSTR-3B for the month of March-2018 on due date but now on 12th May-2018 one of our supplier has send us Invoice of February-2018 and March-2018 as he has forgot submit the Invoice on time.
Now, How can I manage the Invoice to record in my books because GSTR-3B has already filled and Financial Year 2017-2018 is also over.
Please advice.

you can book the invoice in current month i.e. May and claim the ITC in current GSTR-3B as timelimit to avail ITC is still remaining.

But in point of view of Audit and Income Tax, can I book purchase of last financial year in the current financial year? 2nd thing is that GSTR-3B will not match with books , so there will be mismatch betwen books and return filled and will reflect in Audit ?

Agreed with Pankj ji, otherwise the books of accounts will show wrong figures on balance sheet date.

Dear All Experts,
Thanks for your views. It will help me to sort out my problems.
The best way would be to enter all the Invoice on respective date and take the Input Credit on May-2018 and prepare a Reconciliation for Audit Purpose.
