Depreciation Rate on Projector

its a machinery n gets 15% dep.

It will fall under electric Machinery and allowable at 15% (Before 30th Sept.)

I think it will be eligible for 15% 

i do feel that it is a machinery and therefore 15%..

Its clear that it does not fall under Computer category.

A LCD projector can be used even without the use of a computer. It can be used even with a video camera or an digital camera. So, it shall be classified under plant and machinery and hence the rate of depreciation shall be 15% under Income Tax Act and 13.91% under Companies Act.
