Is windmill considered as pollution control equipment in terms of depreciation under section 32?

no, windmill is not considered a pollution control equipment.It falls under the definition of plant and machinery for power generating compnies. depreciation rate is 15% for windmills installed after 31/03/2012
but the solution in CA final module includes windmill @ 40%.
and in one of the authors book it is mentioned that windmills and any specially designed devices which run on windmill or any special devices including electric generators and pumps running on wind energy installed on or after 1.4.2014 will be charged with 40%

depreciation rate is 40% for windmills
i also thought the same but here it is said as 15% (https://www.taxsutra.com/news/4976/CBDT-reduces-depreciation-rate-on-windmills-to-15-).....i dont know what to say...so i twisted the answer in order to get the correct one. depreciation rate as per section 32 is 40% for windmills which was previously at 80%.
