We have received a demand notice u/s 156 we did not pay the demand amount but the Income tax autorities are directly withdrew from my bank account without our notice.So please tell me whether incometax autorities have such right to drawn their amount directly from our bank a/c. If yes please provide details regaring the sections or caselaws.

I have heard of cases wherein the bank accounts of the assessee have been freezed from further transactions by the I-tax department. No idea about your case mate.
