Delay in revision of tds return

I have filed the correction statement of TDS Return with TIN_NSDL on 06/11/2012..but its status is still shown as "UNDER PROCESS AT CPC".

why is there so much delay in accepting the revised tds return ???

is there anybody who is facing the same problem ??

yes, I m facing the same problem since 5th NOv 2012 i filed more than 30 revised of various clients all of status shows same like u say UNDER PROCESS AT CPC

I also asked lots of time with CPC peoples they just answerd its take 2-3 days. I dont know how much time they will take to update...

Thks for Replying Raman....

I read somewere that NSDL was appointed by the GOV. to function til 31st Oct. 2012 and it worked very efficiently till that time.... but after that ITD has appointed TCS for the same or has not renewed the contract of NSDL ...this is wat is causing the delay....

New returns are accepted well and fine its only the correction statements that are delayed....

may be the coz is that the old return lies with NSDL nd the revised return is filed with TCS which is still wanting the old original data that is still with nsdl...
