capital receipt jo aapko baar baar nahi milta....ye aapke balance sheet me dikhti hai..aise receipt aapke normal business activity ka part nahi hoti...jaise ki.....debenture issue karke jo paise milte hain wo. ya bank se loan liya ho ..ye balance sheet ke liability side me jayenge..

revenue receipt baar baar hote hain..ye aapke normal business activity ka part hota hai....jaise aap goods bechte ho to jo paise milenge wo.....ye aapke profit and loss account ya trading account ke credit seide me show hota hai..

well explained sneha

Hey sneha thank you very much u don't even can't imagine how much u help me.

I know u r egar to know y m asking all the things in hindi.

but whatever the reason u r truly helping me out, well i have 2 more question but please describe breifly and the  topic is:

Body of individuals

Assess

and what is dividend income if u please describe in 3 or 4 points it will help me.

well i will tell u that i'm not from commerce line that's y m asking all this stupeid questions to you.

so thanks in advance and waiting for your kind support.

are didi koi baat nai..aur ye questions bilkul stupid nai hain...main samjha doongi...sabse pehle dividend kya hota hai...ye samajhiye

kisi bhi company ka jo profit hota hai usme sab ko distribute karne ke baad aur saare reserves banane ke baad jo profit bachta hai wo shareholders ko diya jata hai....usi ko dividend kehte hain..iska rate fix nai hota..har saal upar neeche hota hai....ye board of directors propose karte hain aur shareholders apni general meeting me approve karte hain.....that is dividend...yahi dividend shareholder ko milta hai use dividend income kehte hain....ye dividend income from other source head me taxable hota hai.....

ek shareholder ke liye INCOME TAX Point of view se....jo dividend kisi bhi Indian company se milta hai wo exempt hota hai matlab uspe koi tax nai lagta kyunki already uspar company dividend distribution tax de chuki hoti hai....but agar dividend kisi foreign company se milta hai wo taxable hota hai...

ek aur dividend income taxable hota hai sec 2(22)(e) me ....wo thoda complicated hai aap kahengi to main samjha doongi....but simple tareeke se samajhna ho to itna kaafi hai....

aap assess pooch rahi hain ya assessee??assess matlab tax compute karna use approve karna...jab aap return file karte hain ...koi bhi return jaise income tax ki ya service tax ki...to jo department hota hai wo aapki return ka assessment karta hai..matlab usko check karna....dekhna...compute karna....

kisi bhi insaan ya body jiski income compute hoti matlab assess hoti  hai tax purpose ke liye wo assessee hota hai...matlab ham sab assessee hain....jaise ki individual assessee yani insaan, partnership firm, company, body of individuals,HUF,trust, association of persons...ye sab assessee hote hain

body of individuals bhi ek tarah ka assessee hota hai...kuch log yani insaan milkar body of individuals banate hain....iske baare me jyada idea nai mujhe ki kaise banate hain....

aur kuch didi?

hey sneha..........u r vry gud in hindi me ji...........thnx jiiii

as far as tax is concerned about capital and revenue expenditure.

Capital expenditure- expenditure incurred to increase the capacity of the asset.

where as

Revenue expenditure- expenditure incurred on preserving and maintaining already owned asset not increasing the capacity of asset

TAX TREATMENT

Capital expenditure is added to the asset and depreciation is claimed on that every year

Revenue expenditure is allowed as deducted in the year incurred or paid(applicable as per sec43(6)).

very well explained Sneha !!

after a long time i have gone thorugh hindi language.

thanks for that

aap yeh capital and revenue expences ka varnana companies act ke anusar janna chahte ho yaa phir income tax act ke anusar??

yeh raha income tax act ke anusar:

capital expenditure mane voh sabhi kharche jo assessee ek asset ki kshmata badhaneke liye kharch karta hai.

ye sabhi kharche asset ko milakar, us puri value pe hum depreciation claim karte hai har saal.

aur

revenue expenses mane voh sabhi kharche jo kshmata badaneke liye nahi, rehene vahi asset ko thik rup me rakhne ko kharch karte hai.

ye sabhi kharche pure milake hum ek hi saal me hamari labh se katenge.

Very Well Explained Sneha.
