Post Office has deducted TDS worth Rs. 2729/- while i got the credit of Rs. 229/- only due to typing mistake which is already commited by Post Office officials. I am in regular in touch with Deductor but each time they don't file the return but making rubbish reasons. On my continous pressure, one of their official said that if they file the correction statement than NSDL will charge penalty from Post Office.
Should i go for Consumer Forum, any other way to sort out this matter or to send the legal notice to Post Master.
