Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether employees can claim deductions for telephone and internet reimbursements when calculating their total income under the new tax regime. While initially questioned, the consensus is that such reimbursements are generally not taxable. This means the reimbursement received for expenses incurred is not added to your taxable salary, preserving your Cost to Company (CTC).

No. i don't think that is permissible
I want to.say that we have incurred such expenditure and later on received as reimbursement from company. if I will not get exemption of this reimbursement then my salary will increase as this is not in my CTC
Then it is a different case.

reimbursement of telephone expenses is not taxable. same about internet
Thanks sir for ur help
