HELLO FRIENDS ACCORDING TO MY KNOLEDGE HE CANNOT CLAIM TUTION FEE U/S 80C COZ THAT SEC SAYS THAT AN ASSESSE CLAIM HIS OWN CHILDRENS TUTION FEE ONLY.

but siva, if the person has adopted the child than according to law he will be his son, n d individual will get all d benefits as allowed by d govt.

Sir,

Here the term referred" Individual" does not mean unmarried. I think u interpreting it wrong. Its not the case of married or unmarried..... Individual means the assessee who is liable to pay tax......
