Dear all,hi.Well,I'm giving my CS Executive attempt in June 2014.Well,I'm not sure about how to start my prep.I'm doing self prep and all the time I can affort to give it is 3 months which includes december(dec-feb).Can anybody there give me a helping hand?I just wanna know the way to prepare and also tell me about the material to be referred,is ICSI material enough?And we don't have to send the answer sheets to ICSI right?Also can someone just give me an outline of this computer course and orientation we have to attend at ICSI?Is it similar to that given at ICAI?I'm doing CA too....so...i'm familiar.....I know,too many questions.But...do help me! PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Dear Snigdha,

3 months should be sufficient enough for you to complete the syllabus totally. and also, since you are doing CA as well, you would already be well versed with accounts and taxation.

Yes ICSI material is enough. you could also go for Sangeet Kedia's book instead of the modules or you can pick up scanners like reliance, which will contain the past papers.

You can straight away apply for the exemption in the computer training and directly appear for the test, which is conducted by SIFY.

As far as the SIP goes, you can do it online as well...on the elearning portal of ICSI.

Sir,how do I claim exemption for ITT?Do I have to go to ICSI?And also can you give me certain details about online SIP?

You.have to claim exemption by filling up a form given by SIFY... What details you want about SIP???? Do you want me to email you the details?? Then you could give me your email id
