CPT June 2011-Quantitative Aptitude

There is no any book or any type of notes available in market or any were related to maths questions solution part. its batter to go that chapters which u r expert...u can purchase a refrence books available in the market just like S chand ther is lots of solve question available in there for CPT level .For solution part go MTP volume 2. in the last of that book all solutions of maths are given back.... that it help u lots of much...........

Nothing to worry about 30% something, for this june its not applicable.Its same old pattern only for june its 50% of 200/100 and you can use 12th maths books..If you skip maths also not a problem, just you can attempt few theory question thats it...

TIPS FOR CPT STUDENTS

hi balu are u sure tat 30%rules r not applicapble for this june cpt attempt....... bcoz still notification s not came regarding marks rules na....... r u sure.......

Yes its not applicable, still now they have announced it will be applicable in future but not this june exams...Still it has to get approved same, once it get approved then will come to know in icai site..

It is hereby clarified that as mentioned in the above write-up, the decision of the Council will be made applicable only after the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 are amended by the Central Government, for which a proposal will be sent to the Central Government shortly.

It is further clarified that the process of Central Government’s approval includes consideration by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Law Ministry, consideration by the Council of ICAI of public comments on the draft amended Regulations, final approval of the proposed amendments by the Central Government and publication of the same in the Gazette of India.

It is once again reiterated that the students and other stakeholders should take cognizance of the official announcements only (published in the Chartered Accountants Journal, CA Students newsletter and www.icai.org)

btw, what is a CA scanner? anyone knows?

I had called ICAI today. They told me that as of now the passing criterion is last years rule itself and that they haven't yet received any ammendment. They will be putting up a notice if any such thing happens.

CA Scanner is nothing much....it is just like a 10 yr exams paper. in form of chapter wise.........u can go for that when u complete yr whole syllabus . there is only one publication that is suchitra publications. dont purchsae scanner that cost u above 400 including all charges.. it batter to purchase from market..it cost u Rs315 only.. from scanner u can understand what type of questions are to be asked by ICAI at CPT level..all questions are not sure is come in previous exams bec... all questions are based on the memory of students who comes out after CPT exams.. bec ICAI never relaese his question paper outside the examination hall..........so all the best
