I AM IN A BIG TROUBLE TO CHECK MY CPC REFUND STAUS. ACTUALY I FILED MY TAS RETURN FOR AY 2012-13 THROUGH AN AGENT. HE HAS DONE A MISTAKE IN PROVIDING MY BANK A/C DETAILS. AT NSDL SITE ITS MENTION CPC REFUND COULD NOT PROCESS DUE TO WRONG BANK A/C. NOW I AM ASKING MY AGENT TO GIVE ME THE PASWORD TO CHECK CPC STATUS AND GET THE RESPONSE SHEET. BUT HE IS NOT GIVING IT TO ME. IS THE ANY WAY OUT TO PROVIDE MY OWN EMAIL ID TO GET THE PASSOWRD OR ANYWAY HOW I WILL GET THE REFUND/ IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY TO GET THE REFUND AMOUNT OR I WONT BE ABLE TO GET BACK THE MONEY ANYWAY? PLEASE SUGGEST THE WAY OUT. BEST REGARDS.

& click the forgot password,, & u provide 10 digit pan card no.& enter the capatcha code u will get new password.

But the new password will be sent to the email which was given by the Tax Preparer

If radharanis emial was registerd then its ok..

@ Radharani, You can do it yourselves with a little bit of study, if you are filing ITR 1 then it is online where you can fill details and submit

or other itrs you can dowload, fill, generate xml and upload...

Apart from that you can seek legal action against your TRP who is not giving you your log in details....

No my email id is not registered there. Its my agen id.

then even if you reset the new password will go to his email.

write a letter to ITO requesting change of email id

No Need to Panic, Write a mail to validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in, Give your PAN Details & ask them to mail the new password at your email Id, They will send the new password within 48 hrs. Once You Get the New Password than go to Profile sttings & change the email Id (which was of agent)

I have checked at https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/servlet/TaxRefundStatus. There it is ssaying Unable to credit refund as the account number provided by you is incorrect.

Note:-

In case your electronic refund (ECS) is not credited to your account please contact your Assessing Officer and provide the correct MICR code and account number where credit is to be effected. The Assessing Officer will ask State Bank of India to send a fresh refund cheque to you.

Insist on Computerised Challan Counterfoil from bank for tax deposited.

Now how I will contact with Assessing Officer?

For that I need to download ‘Response Sheet For Refund Failure Status‘. I could not log in then how I will do so? (Nirmit Choraria)

Reset your password from the procedure given above and do it as per mail instruction and then login and and use the option of reissue of refund cheque
