conversion from OLD to NEW Course

Go to the institute fill up the form of conversion also accompanied by a draft of Rs1100.

u have to write a letter hand written for conversion from old course to new one with dd of Rs 1,100/-

The Additional Director,

ICAI Bhawan,

If you want books then go to the institute with a letter in you hand writing with Rs. 1100/- DD & submit it. & if you do not want book then don,t do it.just fill examination form there will be automatic conversion by ICAI. One of my friend gone to ICAI she has collected this information from there.
 

Keep watching ICAI site. They will soon come up with an announcement relating to conversion from old to new CA Final.

wait for some time icai will make anouncement regarding coversion

I enquired in the Pune Office ,

They have said that January 31st ie today is the last day for submission of the form .....Why the institute has not issued such  notification ?

hope this will help all those who are looking to convert to new course.  

I called Mumbai Office, they said, if you want books then make an application for conversion with a DD of Rs. 1100/- or just fill up the exam form. All old course students will automaticaly be converted into the new course. The same information was gathered by my friends who personally visited Mumbai Regional Office. The cut off date for applying for books is before submitting your exam form. I am waiting for icai.org to disclose.

Today I called the Pune Branch, they told me to submit the handwritten application for the conversion in 2-3 days instead of the conversion form. The study material cost is not yet confirmed , one has to wait for few days to know the amount and procedure for the same.
 

Unambiguous  information should be provided by all the branches. Why the confusion arise ?

i hav called th kanpur office.... they adviced me not to prpr DD bcoz fee structre going  to be chngd....

there are diffrnt thoughts on this topic.....

i m not yet clerd...

Important Announcement for students of CA Final (Old) Course
BoS/Announcement/227/10
January 24, 2011
Sub: Discontinuance of CA Final Examination under the old syllabus.
 
 
As announced earlier on the Institute’s website, the Final (Old) examin ation stands discontinued with the culmination of November, 2010 examination.
 
A detailed announcement regarding administrative procedure to be followed by students of Final (Old) course regarding formalities to be completed for switching over from Final (Old) course to Final (New) course will be made in due course.
 
 
Hence kindly wait for the revised Announcement in our above website..
 

One of my friend called mumbai office. They told that BOS discussion is going on in noida and ICAI will let us know the complete  procedure for conversion within 10 days, so by meantime fill up the exam form from 7th Feb so that there is no delay and latter on formalities can be completed. She had called yesterday.
