Quick Summary
When converting a partnership firm to a proprietorship, even if keeping the same business name, you cannot retain the existing GST number. This change in business constitution necessitates applying for a new GST registration. The old registration will need to be cancelled due to the change in the firm's PAN, and a fresh application will be required.

Yes, take new one and follow the next process.
You have to take new one
You cannot continue with the same GST Number. You have to take new GSTIN No.
You have to apply for a new GST Registration now since there is a change in the constitution of business ( Partnership to Proprietorship ) which results in the change of PAN Card of the Firm...
No you cannot continue with same GSTN , need apply for new GSTN.

In case of conversion of Partnership to Proprietorship , you need to apply for cancellation of existing GST registration due to change in constitution of business and then you need to take new registration on the basis of new PAN
