You can file through ITR 1 or ITR 4...

If ITR 1 then show the contract income in IFOS...

If ITR 4 then show the contract income in PGBP as presumptive Taxation Scheme...

Sir He is doing job and also contract works. there is not tds on salaries. but he have TDS under sec 94 C

If tds has been deducted under 194C along with section 192, then file ITR 3 as for TDS u/s 194C ITR 3 should be filed

For 194C ITR 3 should be filed

S.No If TDS is deducted under section Type ITR form to be used for filing of Return
1 192 ITR1
2 192A ITR1
3 194A ITR1
4 194B, 194BB ITR2
5 194C ITR3
6 194D ITR3
7 194H ITR3
8 194I ITR3 (if TDS rate 2%) ITR1 (if TDS rate 10%-considering that tax payer has only one home which he letout)
9 194J ITR3

Very Good and Knowledge...

But, as per my small experience, the serial number 7 only must through ITR 3.

and

as per query it's as below

You can file through ITR 1 or ITR 4...

If ITR 1 then show the contract income in IFOS...

If ITR 4 then show the contract income in PGBP as presumptive Taxation Scheme...
