Concept clarity-books required

Hello,

I want recomendation from you on which books to read/study to get concept clarity in Financial reporting and Financial Management.

I have read many posts recomending the books to study. All of them mainly focused on exam point of view. Scoring in exam is not my motive. I want to have clarity in concepts on the above 2 subjects.

Which books do you recommend ?

For Accounting it would be great if you recommend a book or books which covers from basics to advanced. ( my basics in accounting are weak).

In my Opinion for SFM u should refer Papneja Sir's Book. It is exclusively for CA (Final) and covers 100% syllabus. It has crystal clear concepts. The good part is it has 800 fully solved questions with graphs & diagrams wherever required, including those from suggested RTP, practice annual, and moreover no question is done without first introducing concept in very simple language .All those who have seen this book or done SFM/FR classes from him swear by his concepts.

Because of his experience of teaching SFM for th last 18 years sir has included all possible queries which we student may have or normally ask inclasses.
