I am currently in composition scheme for fy 18-19, I have to continue same composition scheme in fy 19-20 also, do I have to do any formalities, and if so, what will be those and how

No........ As per sub rule 2 of Rule 5 CGST Act : The taxpayer paying tax under composition scheme need not have to file fresh intimation every year .
