composition dealer itc
our supplier is a composition registered dealer. they charged gst taxes ..can we claim itc in that case or not

no itc shall not be available to the person who are registered in composition scheme
Comosition delaer can not charge GST on thier invoice. they ahve to pay the tax on thier turnover.

First of you ask your supplier "Composition or Regular dealer ".
If he is under composition scheme then you ll reply to him for bill of supply details....

welcome u sir,
one of our client supplies jute, gunny roll and other packing materials etc for packing purposes. After some doubt i check their GSTIN and it shows composition dealer. But in their bill they charges sgst and cgst @ 9% respectively. My query is in that case how they charge GST. can we claim itc. Awaiting for your reply sir..

The dealer is composition then the bill is exactly wrong. They billing as wrong and wrongly given Tax Invoice.
So, You can't claim ITC in this bill... Once again you ll confirm.....
