what if a composite dealer purchases silk yarn from unregistered dealer?
whether he have to pay tax under RCM on said purchases?
Not till March, 2018......... or till further notified (for supplies u/s. 9(4) of CGST act)

silk yarn is covered u/s 9(3), and is still applicable for RCM,my query is about composite dealer whether he has to pay tax under RCM

YES, for RCM on GST u/s. 9(3) of CGST act.......

A Composition Dealer has to pay tax under Reverse Charge Mechanism wherever applicable. There is no exemption to a composition dealer here.
