Compliance requirements for investing in US markets

Others 249 views 2 replies

Hello,

I recently moved back to India and will be a tax resident of India this year. However, I had made some investments in the US/China stock market before moving back to India. A couple of questions

1. Are there any declarations that i need to make?

2. Also, these investments were made using a non-Indian platform, do i need to exit my investments from that platform?

3. If i continue my investments, do i need to make any declarations every year in my returns?

It is advisable you consult a tax expert / specialist as your case needs in-depth analysis. Discussing on the forum might not help in my humble opinion.

you can contact them for tax support. At nine one three three three seven five five five six
