Sir I have some query regarding Company Share holding. MoA and AoA of the company shows the list of directors. Is is necessary that the share holders are the directors shown in MoA and AoA. Whats is the authentic document to know about the share holders and % Share holding in Company. I have another query. Can MCA/ROC approve change of name of company if there is 100% change in share holders and directors?

Also, How can an individual track about the changes in the director (s) in say 15 years of time?

you can know the information of director changes in various companies by mca.gov.in.

1. Shareholders and Directors can be different. If company is newly incorporated, then you can see details of shareholders in subscribers page of MOA. if company is older one, then detailed shareholding can be checked in Annual Return filed by Company.

2. There is no connection between Change of Name and change in shareholders and directors. Roc shall approve if proper procedure is followed.
